Match three things: the original file size, the printer queue’s media setting, and the application’s print options. A Windows default cannot repair a wrongly formatted PDF.
Paper-size problems often return because a setting was changed in only one place. Treat the shipping platform, Windows queue, and PDF viewer as separate layers, then find which one is introducing the mismatch.
Write down the three sizes

Test from the same application after closing and reopening it. If only one program resets the size, investigate its print settings or saved preset. If all applications change, check the actual queue and installed driver. Record the successful combination before removing or reinstalling anything.
Use a descriptive queue or preset name that includes the purpose and label size. For a shared workstation, keep packing-slip settings separate from thermal-label settings. A repeatable choice is more reliable than remembering to correct a generic printer default before every order.

Why is 4 x 6 missing?
The selected queue, driver, or application may not expose that size. Confirm the model’s supported driver and custom-size method.
