Every Anboxing article identifies whether it is hands-on tested, long-term tested, or research-based. We do not describe a product as tested unless a named reviewer used it.
Hands-on reviews
- Record the exact model, purchase or loan source, test dates, and test conditions.
- Use original photos and repeatable measurements whenever relevant.
- Compare the product with at least one realistic alternative.
- Document important drawbacks, failures, and who should not buy it.
Research-based guides
Research-based guides are clearly labeled. They rely on verified manufacturer documentation, reputable independent sources, and a transparent selection method. They do not use first-person testing claims.
Updates and corrections
Substantial updates include a new modified date and a short note explaining what changed. Corrections are made promptly and transparently.
